A Chinese blue and white baluster vase

The vase is decorated with two gilt-decorated moulded qilin handles. The body with gilt shaped panels enclosing scenes painted in en grisaille and enamels of figures in a mountainous river landscape, all surrounded by scrolling lotus. The shoulder with a lappet band below a band of stiff leaves. The rim, neck, and foot are decorated with further scrolling flowers and stiff leaves. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark.
