A Chinese blue and white silver-mounted ewer

The ewer is decorated to with moulded panels enclosing alternating elegant ladies and flowers, the lower body is decorated with two further tiers of moulded panels enclosing flowers. The base with an artemisia leaf. The cover is decorated with a boy at play. The handle and the rim of the cover is mounted with silver, the hinge is surmounted by a soldier's head.
