The house is of rectangular form with a gabled roof and is modelled standing on four bear-shaped feet. A pair of double-doors adorn the front of the vessel.

Catalogue notes: A green-glazed model of a house with a single door dating to the Eastern Han dynasty (25–220) can be found in the Asian Art Museum, The Avery Brundage Collection, accession no. B60P1802

Condition: with areas of restoration, including to the front, sides and edges of the roof; chips to the extremities as expected; fine cracks to the pottery.
