A Chinese blue and white Yuan-style 'dragon and phoenix' jar

The jar is decorated with two moulded Buddhist lion handles, the boyd is decorated with a wide band of two striding three-clawed dragons chasing the flaming pearl amongst flame scrolls, all below ruyi-shaped panels to the shoulder enclosing phoenix. The neck is decorated with two register of scrolling flowers and the foot is decorated with a lappet band. The base is unglazed.
