The rectangular-form teapot is crafted with a short curved spout and a c-shaped handle. The teapot is decorated in slip to one side with two lines from Li Bai's poem, 'At the Yellow Crane Tower to Bid Meng Haoran Bon Voyage', and to the other with a landscape scene. The cover is decorated with a floral scroll and a rectangular finial. The base with a seal reading 'Shao Guangyuan zhi' (Made by Shao Guangyuan).
