A Chinese yixing ‘seal box’ teapot

The teapot is decorated with phoenix-shaped spout and a dragon handle, the body is moulded as a seal box wrapped in fabric, the knot forming the finial of the cover with the remainder of the fabric cascading down the sides. It stands on four protusions that form the feet. The base is inscribed.
