A Chinese famille rose 'narrative' snuff bottle

The flattened bottle is decorated to one side with a scene of a lady in a furnished room with two scholars, the other side is decorated with the same lady standing on a riverbank with a scholar in a sampan, all amongst bushes and trees. The flattened sides and neck are decorated with scrolling flowers, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. The rim and raised borders are gilt. With an ivory stopper.
