A Chinese blue and white 'scholars' teapot

The teapot is modelled with an upright handle and a straight spout. The sides are decorated with two panels enclosing a scene of a scholar and an attendant in a mountain landscape. The shoulder is decorated with a geometric band interspersed with cartouches enclosing precious objects. The cover is married.
