A Chinese celadon-glazed ewer

The ewer is modelled with a pear-shaped body and a flaring mouth, the slender curving spout is held by a stylised dragon truss, the ear-shaped handle is shaped after a metal original. The ewer is covered overall in a thick sea-green glaze which stops just above the foot to reveal the unglazed base.
