A Chinese yellow-ground famille rose 'Eight Immortals' vase and cover

The vase is decorated to the shoulders with two moulded elephant-head handles, the exterior is decorated with the attributes of the Eight Immortals scattered around scrolling lotus flowers, clouds, and peaches, all below a ruyi-head band to the rim and a lappet band to the foot. The domed cover is decorated with further flower scrolls and is surmounted by a lotus bud finial. The interior and base are glazed turquoise with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
