A Chinese famille rose 'bird and flower' jardinière

The exterior is decorated with two pheasants and further birds perched amongst flowering branches, all below a pomegranate-shaped band enclosing scrolling flowers, and a further squared scroll band just below the rim. The foot is decorated with a lappet band.
