A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'MANDARIN DUCKS' BOWL, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The bowl is decorated to the interior with a roundel enclosing two mandarin ducks and lotus, the rim is encircled with lanca characters. The exterior is decorated with a pairs of mandarin ducks amongst lotus flowers in a pond. The rim is decorated with striding dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. 16 cm. diam.
