Two Chinese white jade plaques

The first is carved to one side with a maiden and a bird, the reverse with a poetic inscription and dated bingwu year and a rectangular plaque carved with a maiden and two birds, the reverse with a poetic inscription under a seal reading ‘yuzhi’.

The larger plaque: 8 cm. high, 4 cm. wide The smaller plaque: 6.2 cm. high, 4.5 cm. wide
