A CHINESE DOUCAI LOTUS-FORM DISH, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The dish is decorated to the centre with a lanca character, surrounded by lotus-form panels enclosing registers of ruyi-heads. The outermost register is decorated with alternating lanca characters and the Eight Buddhist Emblems. The exterior is similarly decorated and the base bears a Yongzheng mark. 20.3 cm.
