A very large Chinese blue and white ‘Kraak porselein’ bowl

The bowl is boldly decorated to the exterior with panels enclosing various flowers and plants, including lotus, peony, prunus, and bamboo, all separated by a beaded border. The interior is decorated with a central roundel enclosing two birds amongst flowers and rocks, surrounded by large shaped panels enclosing sunflowers separated by further beaded panels.
