Two pairs of Chinese blue and white miniature vases and teapots

Each vase is decorated with a continuous scene of ladies and boys amongst trees, flowers, and rocks in a fenced garden between hatched bands. The necks are decorated with flowers and the feet with pine trees. The bases are marked with a yu (jade) character. The teapots with compressed bodies, each decorated with petal panels enclosing ladies alternating with flower sprays, with further flower sprays between the petal panels. The rim is decorated with a demi-diaper band. Both covers are associated, one is decorated with flowers with a ball finial, and the other with leaves and a Buddhist lion finial. The bases are marked with a yu (jade) character, one base is unglazed.
