A Chinese export silver 'bird and flower' coffee pot

The body is decorated to both sides with birds amongst flowering prunus branches. The handle and spout are elegantly modelled as in the form of bamboo, the handles with two ivory insulators. The domed cover is surmounted by a bamboo finial. The base is marked KW and the maker's mark 'Chang? An'.
