A Chinese Cantonese ivory 'Hundred Faces' fan

The fan leaf is decorated with a multitude of figures at leisure on terraces, the faces are picked out in ivory and the clothes with textile appliques, the scene is bordered by a band of flowers and endless knot. The ivory guardsticks are carved with figures. Framed and glazed.
