A pair of silver-mounted Chinese blue and white ovoid vases and covers

Each decorated with scrolling peonies below suspended parasols and chimes between two lappet bands, a ruyi head band to the shoulder and a demi-flower band just below the neck. The bases are decorated with two circles in underglaze blue. The rims are mounted in silver, and with a tapered silver cover surmounted by a lotus bud finial.
