A Chinese famille rose 'figural' meiping

The vase is decorated with a scene depicting two ladies, one holding a book and the other holding a leafy branch with a bearded scholar who raises his hands upwards, all in an interior setting. The neck is decorated with a ruyi-head band and the foot with a lappet band. The shoulder is decorated with two moulded iron-red and gilt bats. The scene is inscribed with one iron red seal reading 'zhiyin'. The base with a seal mark reading 'Ya Wan zhencang'.
