A Cantonese carved ivory rectangular box

The box is deeply carved and undercut with panels enclosing figures at leisure amongst pavilions and willow trees. The border of the cover is carved with flowers and insects on a wan-pattered ground, and the rim of the cover and base is carved with flower scrolls. The box stands on four knob feet.
