A Chinese famille rose 'chrysanthemum' ribbed brush pot, bitong

The brush pot is decorated with chrysanthemum, asters, and further flowers and leaves growing beside a rock. The reverse is inscribed with an excerpt from the Tang poet Chang Xuan's poem about chryanthemums, which represents the ninth month, and two iron red seal marks.
