A Chinese chicken bone jade square seal

Reference: ART1001680

The seal is surmounted by a coiled and undercut qilin. The seal face is inscribed with four characters in seal script reading 'tian xia tai bao' which may be translated as 'the most precious treasure beneath the sky'. The jade is of a creamy mottled tone. Provenance: From the collection of mr. J.E. Vaandrager
