A Chinese blue and white 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' pear-shaped vase, hu

The vase is decorated to the shoulders with two moulded mythical beast handles, the body is decorated with a wide band of scrolling lotus supporting the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang) all between a band of lappets to the foot and ruyi-heads to the neck, below bands of scrolling lingzhi and waves. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark.
