The necklace is composed of one hundred and eight amber beads of honey tone separated by three jadeite 'Buddha's head' beads. The lower part is decorated with a double-gourd and a jadeite bead (fotouta), and a flat oblong jadeite plaque ('beiyun') suspending a green jadeite drop.

Condition: the necklace is missing the three secondary pendants and has been restrung; a few amber beads with fine cracks and natural inclusions and irregularity to the material; a crack to one jadeite bead; the beiyun possibly replaced.
