The Goddess of Mercy is modelled with a serene expression below her hair in a high chignon held with a ruyi-head pin. She wears long draping robes and one of her hands holds a scroll while seated in Royal Ease on a rounded base. The reverse is stamped with a ‘boji yuren’ mark.
