A Chinese blue and white 'Nanking pattern' reticulated basket and platter

The basket is affixed to the rim with two finely moulded upright flower and scroll handles. The interior of the basket and dish is decorated with pavilions in a mountainous river landscape, surrounded by a delicately reticulated band of elongated cells, and a further diaper band at the rim.

The basket has a height of 8.50 cm and a width of 17.50 cm, the platter has a height of 3.0 cm and a width of 21.00 cm.
