A massive Chinese yellow-glazed blue and white dragon charger

The dish is decorated in a Ming style with a large five-clawed dragon to the centre amongst scrolling lotus, the cavetto decorated with four striding dragons amongst lotus. The exterior is decorated with a large scrolling lotus and an apocryphal Jiajing mark. All reserved on a yellow enamelled ground. The base unglazed and the foot interior is covered with a brown wash.
