A Chinese gilt bronze cloisonné enamel 'Luohan' plaque

The plaque is impressively decorated with eight gilt bronze Luohans at leisure amongst a pavilion in a colourful mountainous river landscape full of swirling clouds and trees. Above the plaque is a raised gilt bronze border decorated in relief with bats and clouds, all below a gilt bronze plaque inscribed with the descriptions of the ninth to sixteenth Luohan, and signed Wang Chang with two seals.
