A CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL 'DA JI' DOUBLE GOURD VASE, QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The vase is decorated to each side with two roundels enclosing the characters 'da' and 'ji', meaning good fortune. The roundels are surrounded by shou characters, wan symbols, bats, chimes, and lotus flowers, all reserved on a turquoise ground. The base with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. 30.5 cm.
