A Chinese blue and white klapmuts bowl

The exterior is decorated with two scenes from the famous story 'Romance of the Western Chamber' separated by clouds and rocks, all below a diaper band with peach cartouches. The interior is decorated with a roundel enclosing three boys at play, with a further diaper band to the rim. The base with an apocryphal Chenghua mark.
