A Chinese famile verte 'auspicious animals' dish

The dish is decorated to the interior with four panels enclosing auspicious animals, including cockerel, deer, mandarin ducks, and a further mythical beasts. The rim is decorated with scrolling lotus on an iron-red ground interspersed with insect cartouches. The reverse is decorated with flower sprays and the base bears an artemisia leaf mark in underglaze blue.
