A pair of Chinese yellow-ground appliqué-decorated octagonal vases

Each vase is decorated with two iron-red and gilt qilin handles to the neck, the body and neck are decorated with two registers in mirror image with precious objects, auspicious emblems, plants, and fruits, all between two trellis bands.
