A large Chinese celadon and grey jade 'bat and peaches' carving

The piece is carved to the upper naturally undulating surface as a beaked bat with one wing outstretched with gnarled branch of peaches. The flattened reverse is similarly carved. The details of the fur are delicately incised. The stone is of a grey-celadon tone with deep grey skin.
