A Chinese lime-green ground famille rose teapot

The teapot is decorated to both sides with a quatrefoil gilt panel enclosing a poem in iron red, and apocryphally signed Jiaqing dingsi year. The panels are reserved on a lime green ground with scrolling lotus below a ruyi head panel to the neck and a lappet band to the foot. The domed cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a coral red and gilt lotus bud finial. The interior and base are glazed turquoise with an apocryphal Jiaqing mark.
