A yellow-ground green and aubergine-decorated biscuit plate

Reference: ART100274

The plate is decorated with a central landscape medallion surrounded by shaped panels enclosing precious objects, and floral designs, all on a ground of scattered peony, bamboo and chrysanthemum. The exterior is covered in a translucent glaze and is decorated with peony. The base with a double circle in underglaze blue.

Provenance: Formerly in the collection of Marie-Louise Carven (1909-2015), Paris, founder of The House of Carven.

Condition: with wear to the rim.
