The box decorated in 'Miaojin' technique with figures in pavilions in a river landscape. The sides are decorated in gilt flowers. The trays are each shaped as squares with canted corners. Catalogue notes: 'Miaojin' technique refers to the golden lines with which a polychrome decoration in lacquer was highlighted.
