A Chinese ivory ‘chilong’ vase and cover

The cylindrical ivory vase is decorated with two chilong shaped handles, and is carved in high relief with further sinuous chilong and a key fret band to the rim. The domed cover is surmounted with a chilong finial and surrounded by a key fret band.
