A Chinese copper-red-decorated blue and white 'mythical beasts' vase

The body is decorated with three mythical beasts perched on rocks amongst tumultuous waves in underglaze copper red. The foot is decorated with a classic scroll. The base bears an apocryphal Kangxi mark.
