A large Chinese Yuan-style blue and white jar

The jar is decorated with a continuous scene of three scholars on horseback accompanied with attendants carrying their possessions heading towards a further scholar with two attendants in a pavilion, all amongst trees and cloud scrolls. The neck is decorated with a diaper band, the shoulder with a trellis band interspersed with floral cartouches, and the foot is decorated with a stiff leaf band.
