A large Chinese famille rose 'nine peaches' basin

The interior is decorated with five bats in flight amongst a leafy branch bearing nine peaches. The cylindrical walls are decorated with further bats and clouds and the everted rim is decorated with the beribboned attributes of the Eight Immortals. The exterior is similarly decorated and the base is enamelled turquoise.
