A Chinese blue and white 'klapmuts' bowl

The bowl is decorated with two scenes narrative scenes, all below a diaper band with cartouches enclosing beribonned precious objects. The interior is decorated with boys at play in a fenced garden surrounded by a further diaper band with cartouches. Each base has an apocryphal Chenghua mark in underglaze blue.
