A famille rose cockerel teapot

Reference: ART100539

The rounded teapot with s-shaped spout and c-shaped handle, decorated to both sides with a cockerel amongst peonies and magnolia on a pierced rock, all below a pink trellis band with floral cartouches. The domed cover is similarly decorated with a lotus bud finial.

Condition: frits to the foot, and rim of cover, two chips to the spout; slight wear to the enamels.
