A CHINESE GREEN-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE VASE

Superbly potted with a flattened ruyi-shaped body, rising from a splayed foot moulded, and elegantly sweeping up to a rectangular waisted neck stylized with two elephant shaped handles. Decorated with two ruyi-shaped panels enclosing kids at play in a landscape. Brightly enamelled around the body with leafy lotus strapwork and Buddhist emblems reserved on a green ground, all under a band of ruyi-heads to the rim. The base with a Chinese Qianlong seal mark. 25.8 cm.
