A Chinese Ming-style blue and white 'scrolling peony' meiping

The vase is decorated to the body in various shades of cobalt blue with a wide band enclosing leafy scrolling peonies, all below a lotus meander to the shoulder and a stiff leaf band to the foot. The base is unglazed.
