A Chinese polychrome-decorated ivory figure of a maiden

The lady is carved with a smiling face and her hair in a high chignon, she wears long robes and a celestial scarf which billows in the wind. She holds a flower basket aloft in her right hand and a fly whisk in the other hand. She is modelled drifting on a swirling cloud base. Wood stand.
