Three Chinese blue and white 'Romance of the Western Chamber' dishes

All three dishes are decorated with scenes from the famous story the ‘Romance of the Western Chamber’ (Xixiang ji), the small bowl is decorated to the reverse with lingzhi and is marked ‘yu zhen’; medium-sized dish is decorated to the reverse with mountains; and the large dish is decorated to the reverse with two branch sprays.

Small bowl: 3.2 cm. high x 16.5 cm. diam. Medium dish: 2.8 cm. x 22.5 cm. diam. Large dish: 3.5 cm. X 27.5 cm. diam.
