A Chinese blue and white Ming-style wall sconce

The upper section is moulded as a bowl with a foliate flaring rim, the lower section with lobed petals rising from the long tapering handle, the exterior is decorated with petal and geometric design. The interior of the bowl is pierced with five apertures surrounded by further petals and a floral band. The exterior with an apocryphal Xuande mark in a single line.
