A large Chinese blue and white 'boys' jar

The jar is decorated in washed cobalt blue tones with a continuous scene of boys at play in a fenced garden amongst rocks and pine trees, all above a lappet band at the rim. The shoulder is decorated with a scrolling lingzhi band below a classic scroll band which also bears an apocryphal Jiajing mark.
