A SILVER DRINKING BOWL, HELLENISTIC, 4TH-3RD CENTURY BC

A small shallow drinking bowl, early Hellentic. The rim is drawn up towards a thicker lip. Two rivets are placed through the the bowl, one of which survives. These would have held a strip of silver to suspend the bowl. The outside is decorated with with a double lined circle from which radiate three equally spaced shallow grooved lines which go to the edge.
